"Pablo Honey" Was Recorded At Chipping Norton Recording Studios And Courtyard Studios, Both Located In Oxfordshire, Between September And November 1992. The Album Was Produced By Sean Slade And Paul Q. Kolderie, Who Had Previously Worked With Bands Such As Dinosaur Jr. And The Pixies.
The Lead Single From The Album, "Creep", Became A Massive Hit Worldwide, Reaching The Top 10 In Several Countries Including The Uk, Us, And Canada. Despite The Success Of "Creep", The Album Received Mixed Reviews From Critics, Who Praised The Band's Songwriting And Yorke's Vocals But Criticized The Album's Lack Of Originality And Tendency To Mimic Other Bands.
Over Time, "Pablo Honey" Has Gained A Reputation As An Important And Influential Album In The Alternative Rock Genre. It Has Been Certified Platinum In The Uk And Gold In The Us And Has Sold Over 2 Million Copies Worldwide. Radiohead's Subsequent Albums Have Been Widely Acclaimed And Have Pushed The Boundaries Of Rock Music, But "Pablo Honey" Remains A Significant Part Of The Band's History And Legacy.
