"What's Your Mama's Name" is the debut studio album by American country music artist Tanya Tucker, released on May 8, 1973, when Tucker was just 14 years old. The album was produced by Billy Sherrill and released on Columbia Records.
The album contained two hit singles, the title track "What's Your Mama's Name" and "Blood Red and Goin' Down," both of which reached number two on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. The album also includes covers of classic country songs such as "Delta Dawn" and "The Jamestown Ferry."
"What's Your Mama's Name" was a critical and commercial success, establishing Tucker as a rising star in country music. The album reached number four on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
