NRBQ, which stands for "New Rhythm and Blues Quartet," was formed in 1967 in Tampa, Florida. The band's original lineup consisted of Terry Adams on keyboards, Steve Ferguson on guitar, Joey Spampinato on bass, and Tom Staley on drums.
