NRBQ
NRBQ, which stands for "New Rhythm and Blues Quartet," was formed in 1967 in Tampa, Florida. The band's original lineup consisted of Terry Adams on keyboards, Steve Ferguson on guitar, Joey Spampinato on bass, and Tom Staley on drums. The band's early sound was a mix of rock, R&B, and jazz, and they quickly gained a reputation as a formidable live act.
The album received positive reviews upon its release, with critics praising the band's musicianship and eclectic sound. However, it did not achieve commercial success, and the band continued to tour extensively and release albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
Today, "Scraps" is considered a classic of the rock and roll genre, and NRBQ is regarded as one of the most influential and innovative bands of their era. The band continues to perform and record to this day, with Adams and Spampinato as the only remaining original members.
