1979 Original Green Logo, y. "Outlandos d'Amour" is the debut studio album by the British rock band The Police, released on November 2, 1978. The album features a blend of punk, reggae, and rock influences, showcasing the band's distinctive sound that would later make them famous. It includes some of their early hits, such as "Roxanne," "Can't Stand Losing You," and "So Lonely," which helped establish The Police as a significant force in the late 1970s music scene. The album was produced by the band's manager, Stewart Copeland's brother, Miles Copeland III, and was recorded in Surrey Sound Studios in England.
