Move
"Looking On" was the band's 2nd album and marked a departure from their earlier pop-oriented sound. The album was more experimental, featuring longer tracks and incorporating elements of progressive rock, hard rock, and psychedelic music.
The album's opening track "Looking On" is a 7-minute long instrumental featuring a heavy, distorted guitar riff. Other standout tracks on the album include "Brontosaurus," "What?" and "When Alice Comes Back to the Farm."
Despite receiving positive reviews from critics, the album did not achieve commercial success and failed to chart in the UK. However, it has since been recognized as a cult classic and has influenced a number of musicians in the years since its release.
After the release of "Looking On," The Move continued to experiment with their sound and eventually evolved into the band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) in the early 1970s.
