This Set Gathers Nine Slim-Led Small Combo Performances Recorded For Producer Clyde Otis. The Disc Opens With Slim Revisiting One Of His Signature Tunes, The Excellent "Everyday I Got The Blues." Originally Recorded In 1948 As "Nobody Loves Me," The Song Has Since Become A Virtual Blues Standard, Having Been Rendered By Blues (B.B. The Material That Follows Ranges From Up-Tempo Numbers Like "Let's Get With It," "Sally Mae," And "Broadway Blues" To The Shuffle Blues Of "A Long Time Gone" And The Slow Swagger Of "Gambler's Blues."
