2014 180gm Gatefold Original With Custom Inner Sleeve. Ghost Stories is the sixth studio album and was produced by the band and Paul Epworth, with additional production from Jon Hopkins.

The album was influenced by the personal life of lead vocalist Chris Martin, who had recently gone through a divorce with his wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Martin described the album as a "quiet, low-key album," and said that it was about "trying to find the light amongst the darkness."

The album's lead single, "Magic," had received positive reviews from critics and charted in the top 10 in several countries. The second single, "Midnight," was accompanied by a music video directed by Mary Wigmore.

The album was followed by a world tour, which included performances in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The tour was documented in the concert film and live album Ghost Stories Live 2014.
