Formed In 1984 As An Attempt To Bring Some Glam And Fun Into The DC Post-Hardcore Scene, The Eubies Soon Found Themselves At The Center Of The Short-Lived But Very Influential "Gothadelic" Scene In Washington, D.C., Releasing 2 Records- A Self-Titled Lp In 1985, And "Mystery" In 1988, Which Won A Local WAMA Award For Best Alternative Recording.
