Desert Skies
Sealed 2013 LP Release Of Their Previously Unreleased Debut Album. No Hype Sticker, Vinyl Color Variant Unknown. Beachwood Sparks formed in the late 1990s in Los Angeles, California. The band's sound was heavily influenced by the psychedelic country rock of the 1960s and 1970s, particularly the music of The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers and Gram Parsons. "Desert Skies" received critical acclaim upon its release, with many critics praising the band's ability to blend country, folk, and rock influences into a cohesive sound. The album helped to establish Beachwood Sparks as one of the leading acts in the emerging "cosmic Americana" scene, which also included bands like Wilco and the Jayhawks.
